The Youth Ministry at HAB has an outstanding tradition of being both a place of fun and a place of spiritual growth. We are in the ongoing process of creating an authentic Christian community- a place where everyone is welcome and valued. With a committed group of adult leaders, the teenagers of HAB have numerous opportunities to meet for worship, Bible study, discussion, and mission projects. Whether it's through volleyball, serving at the Sulzbacher Homeless Shelter, or gathering for worship and prayer, the HAB Youth Ministry strives to be a friendly environment where young people can genuinely and enthusiastically discover their life in God.

An Interview with Michael Page:

Michael, what are your favorite movies?  "I love movies, so I can't just name one, so here are a couple of my favorites.  The Princess Bride (don't laugh, it's a classic), The Sting, Casablanca, The Three Amigos."

What's in your iPod right now?  "Here are a few artists: Sufjan Stevens, Fats Domino, Rich Mullins, Nickel Creek, Bob Marley, Third Day, Bill Monroe."

What are some of your hobbies Michael? "We're allowed to have hobbies?  I thought Kyle said we just had to be at the church all the time.  Actually, I enjoy reading, camping, canoeing, and general family stuff with my wife and my three children."

What do you most enjoy about working with youth at HAB? "The youth are great.  They are a group that likes to have fun and laugh, but they can also get serious and talk about their faith in a deep and meaningful way.  They like to serve and they take missions seriously.  The HAB youth group is a great youth ministry to be a part of."
