Welcome to our place on the web! Please take a few moments to learn more about this remarkable family of faith known as Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church. For over 60 years, HAB has been a place of grace and welcome for people from all over the city of Jacksonville as well as the entire First Coast.

The people of HAB strive to extend hospitality to each and every person believing that acceptance and welcome are at the heart of the Christian gospel.

The people of HAB believe that the life of faith is a journey. We encourage each person to explore faith through engaging Bible study, thoughtful worship, and by providing an open atmosphere in which questions and struggles are treated with respect and love.

The people of HAB serve both the local and global community. The church is not an end in itself but rather provides a means for service to the world. You will find numerous avenues of service as part of the HAB experience.
